This territory is rich in naturalistic and landscape resources and offers the opportunity to live a permanent holiday in the pursuit of sport, relaxation and fun, to alternate moments of leisure with a visit to the very rich and varied historical and artistic heritage.

In the paradisiacal Apennine scenery of the high Marsica mountains, we find places of international renown such as Ovindoli, Pescasseroli, etc., where it is possible to practice winter sports such as cross-country skiing or snowboarding.

In the summer the territory does not exhaust its attraction, which indeed becomes even more beautiful for the colors that are generated in this part of the year. In the summer months it is possible to practice an infinite number of sports, from mountain biking, to trekking, to climbing, to horse riding.

In this regard we point out the presence of the Tagliacozzo racecourse, an avant-garde structure, where it is possible to admire horse races and which with its presence represents a bit the strong bond between this territory and the horse.

For lovers of nature walks, the Marsica offers a wide choice for the many wooded paths, both hilly and mountainous, where it is possible to penetrate. In this context we point out the possibility of taking walks within the Marsica beech woods, the oldest in Europe and which for this reason became a UNESCO site. 

For lovers of speleological excursions, the Marsican area offers a wide range of excursions in the caves, which are very common in the area. Among these we point out the caves of Carsoli and the caves of Stiffe, authentic Marsican geological jewels. 

In addition to sports, it is worth noting the numerous festivals and fairs that enliven every Marsica village in summer and allow visitors to enjoy unique experiences and taste the many local delicacies.
