The scientific dissemination that we have been carrying out for some time now has the aim of communicating and disseminating certain types of topics, which concern the rich Marsican territory. With the Web Marsica portal we are trying to best take care of the cognitive aspect of the immense artistic, urban, archaeological, historical and geological heritage of Marsica, trying to be as detailed as possible.

At the same time, however, we know that sometimes the topics we discuss are not always easy to understand, so we need to be as understandable as possible, trying to identify with the reader and trying to exude emotions and surprises in him, which then stimulate his curiosity in delving deeper into those topics of greatest interest to him.

The interests that can affect a person can be multiple and the ability to communicate and disseminate is not an easy task, but rather has often proven and continues to be complex and delicate. Precisely for this reason, in the various topic we are going to discuss, great ability to understand and synthesize is needed.

As mentioned elsewhere, in this work we deal with various themes ranging from the environment to the history of the Marsican territory and trying to be simple and descriptive, we try to talk about the Marsica by connecting every discussion of some topic with the many aspects that they concern this territory, it’s a bit like having a ball in your hand with various facets. 

Starting therefore from all these facets that make up this territory, with WEB MARSICA we have always set ourselves the objective of being a digital starting point for the discovery of this area starting from the villages and its most represetative places, enhancing both its heritage artistic-cultural and geological-environmental

These places, each different from the other, together form the Marsica, which is an area very rich in fantastic places, composed of alpine landscapes, full of high mountains, large beech forests, large slopes for skiing or country roads for horse riding . But still ancient cities and tunnels lost in the most impervious nature etc.

Instead,  for lovers of religious tourism, Marsica offers a boundless range of still active churches, sanctuaries and monasteries of which this area of Abruzzo is rich and which we aim to reveal to the reader with this work. To tell all this  we will use historical and scientific articles, curiosities, tourist information, current and vintage images and films, but also artistic films which alone can slowly reveal facts that have happened over time.

In our own small way we try to reveal many aspects of the long environmental, political and cultural history of the Marsican territory. With a dissemination operation as detailed as possible we try to shed light on an area of Italy that is still too unknown today, but which however has unique characteristics in Europe.

With this portal we therefore try to make the visitor as informed as possible about the many things there are in this area called Marsica, the result we would like is a bit as if the person who comes to visit here found himself at the center of a world where just one click is enough to get what you want.

This is done to give this person or group of people the opportunity to be the protagonist(s) of a unique and exciting experience, when decide to visit these practically “alpine” places, where nature is still the absolute master, capable of forging the character of the local people, strong and kind at the same time.
