As mentioned in the descriptive part, Cerchio is a village of purely medieval origin, which however, due to the huge earthquake, has lost much of its ancient medieval monuments, but not its urban structure which despite the reconstruction carried out in the twentieth century has maintained its previous features, but updated to date. However, the ancient structures, especially churches, were recovered both by rebuilding them and only by restoring them and today they can be fully visited.

Here we remember the oldest church in Cerchio which is the church of San Bartolomeo, dating back to the thirteenth century and restructured albeit deeply in the twentieth century. Then the church of San Pietro e Paolo built in the eighteenth century, but completely rebuilt after the earthquake of 1915 in the same place as the previous one, so the structure appears today in its second version.

The last church is that of the Madonna delle Grazie, dating back to the sixteenth century and also deeply restored after the earthquake of 1915.

In the village there is also a large Civic museum active since 1986 which hosts varios permanent exhibitions such as that of peasant civilization and crafts. The structure that houses the museum was born as a convent of the Discalced Augustians in the sixteenth century together with the church of the Madonna delle Grazie. The old museum was heavily demaged by the earthquake of 1915 and today, 100 years later, it is completely renovated and houses both the Civic Museum and the municipality.

The town lends itself well to a visit as it is very beautiful in terms of urban planning, but as mentioned in the description, the strength of the village is the naturalistic aspect that surrounds it and which has no equal as landscapes that deserve to be experienced with a visit. The country then being not far from other characteristic villages, can be the basis for numerous excursions in the area.
